by Morighann, 125 days agoAs of March 21, the Pirates of Palatine Hill (by way of our Leftovers Charter: You No Take Candle!) have slain Arthas in Icecrown Citadel's 10-man version.
The Pirates were the 2nd Leftovers group to accomplish this, and 9th on the server.

by Morighann, 149 days agoThe time has come round again for the LC Gaming Society to put together a budget proposal for ASLC...
...a key part of this is the Society bring able to report the number of hours per week on average its members spending doing gaming-type stuff with other LC people -- which, in turn, matters specifically to us because those numbers are what gets the Society its budget, and that budget is what pays for our website/subsidizes guild shirts/etc.
So, What Do You Need to Do?
...Just respond to the poll linked at the bottom of this post, indicating how many hours per week you estimate that you spend playing WoW with other guildmates. Admittedly, given the nature of WoW, defining exactly what counts as "with other guildmates" can be a bit daunting, but these guidelines may be of some help:
- YNTC raids always count -- it's the guild charter, ergo it's guild time (similarly, time spent with other guildies doing YNTC stuff other than actually raiding counts too -- whether that is slotting, prepping for raids, etc.)
- Being on WoW and not paying attention to/interacting with anyone else in guild does not count.
- Running instances with other guildies definitely counts. So does questing, leveling, achieving, etc.
- Being on WoW, doing your own instancing/leveling/questing/PvPing/ etc., but still rocking guild chat, talking on vent, etc. counts.
Basically, if having guildies around would not make a difference for a given amount of time playing WoW, it doesn't count -- if it would, then it does.
